Hi, welcome to V.E.N.T.101, vocalizing every noted topic with a Christian twist. I'm June Bryant, your host, and we welcome you to our podcast. Our vision is to win souls to Christ and to help those who know him by giving them a fresh new perspective on Christian living and reading God's Word. Our mission is to biblically educate people while growing in their Christian walk by answering questions that they are uncomfortable to ask in a church-like setting. You can find us wherever you get your podcast. Please like and subscribe. You can also visit us on YouTube, Instagram, or on our website vent-101.com, where you can leave any questions or comments that you may have. Thank you. We got a group of young ladies with us today. Welcome. I'm gonna go um let uh let my co-host uh introduce herself and then we'll have the ladies to introduce themselves.
Speaker 5Good morning, everyone. I'm Pats Dean. I'm just glad to be here, and I'm so grateful to the Lord to help these beautiful, beautiful women of God in the world. Woo! Hey, make room for the senior citizens.
SpeakerSo I'm gonna let every uh each one of you ladies now take she's a veteran. She's been in here with us almost every year. She's a veteran of V.E.N.T.101. Yeah, no, we love Tay. Yeah. Uh but uh I'm gonna go around and let each one of you all introduce yourselves.
Speaker 3Okay, well, I guess I'll start. My name is Keisha. Um, this is my first time here, and I'm grateful that I got the opportunity to come and speak to you all. Amen.
Speaker 2Hey, y'all, I'm Tay. I'm a returning.
Speaker 4Yes, ho so. Hey, I'm Victoria. Um, this is my first time here too, and I'm just grateful to be able to talk about God today. All right, amen.
Speaker 1I am Jacqueline. I just got themed the nickname Jazzy Jackie. As like the other ladies, I'm happy to be here as well. I'm excited about the conversation and what God is gonna do through each and every one of us today.
SpeakerAmen. Yeah, we're so happy to have you, ladies. Thank you. So for the next couple of hours, we're gonna talk about uh living for God through a woman's perspective. Now, the journey of a young woman who are choosing to live for Christ in a world that doesn't always make it that easy isn't about perfection or pretending to have it all figured out, family. It's about having real faith. Thank you, Jesus, in Jesus, and real life meaning, discovering uh their identity, meaning who they are, their purpose, meaning what they're called to do, on top of it, while dealing with family, friendships, pressure, and hope by seeing life through the eyes of Christ. Now, all women, all women, including senior women, have been uniquely created by God for a specific purpose, not that only uh bring satisfaction, peace of mind, and meaning, but also will give us the opportunity to win souls to Christ and help grow God's kingdom. Now, Psalms 139, 13 through 14 says, For you formed my inward parts. You knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well. Thank you, Jesus. So today we have Tay, Victoria, Jackie, and Keisha in the studio to give us their perspective on living for Christ in 2026. And prayerfully, other women that tune into Vent 101 will get the chance to hear and see how you are looking or feeling through what you're experiencing now and in the future, because this we are heard all over the world. So, young women, God has chosen you for specifically to come in here and give your perspective. So, I'm before we get started, I'm gonna ask you what is your age, and then I'll ask you how you all were with us in the women's conference. So, I'm gonna ask you what your age is and tell me what you got out of the women's conference this year.
Speaker 1I can start.
SpeakerOkay.
Speaker 4Um, I'm Victoria, I'm 36. Um, I've been on this spiritual journey for like, it's been a long time, but like recently, just the past year or so, um, the conference, it was amazing. Um I had a breakthrough at the conference for sure. Thank you, Jesus. It was one where I'm like, I can't turn back now. So I can't turn back now. Um, I just think that like just being in a room with other women and other young ladies that are on the same like path and doing the same thing is very, very encouraging. Yes, man.
Speaker 5Amen. That's God. That's God.
Speaker 1Okay, since all eyes are on me out there. All right. Um, I'm Jackie, and Jackie is somebody I identify, but God is starting to call me Jacqueline in this part of my life. I am 42 years young. Amen. And uh my birthday is coming up. So now today is May 2nd. I have 15 more days to 43. Amen. Um, and I I too, like Victoria, did get a breakthrough. Um, I went with one intention and came out with something totally different than what I submitted. Um, I thank God for just having the alignment, even with you, to be able to, even with your grandmother, to bridge that gap because I did not know, you know, and God will use people to get you to where you need to be. So I just thank and praise God that you are obedient enough to still continuously have that um that conference. That was my first year, first time coming. Um, and I will say that it it it met more than the expectation of what I came in there for. And I'm thankful I got a new sister out of it. Thank you. Another prayer warrior that kind of understands who I am and sees who I am, and I got a struggle and fight. So I thank you for being obedient.
Speaker 3Amen.
Speaker 5That's wonderful.
Speaker 3Okay, wonderful. Hi, my name is Keisha, 43. That was my first time at the women's conference as well. Whew, and it was an experience. It definitely was. Had a couple breakthroughs through there, and I got to meet, got to meet Tay. Yes, got to meet Ms. Knight. Hi tonight, if you're watching. And she has prayed for me over the phone. She prayed for me at the conference. And some things that she said, Lord, it broke me down. But one of the things she did say was true, which I was just telling Miss Pat earlier, she was talking about me getting a passport and speaking at different places. But I was like, okay, I'm not much of a speaker in front of people like that, but conversation-wise, yes. But ironically, I just got my passport the week before the conference.
Speaker 9Yeah.
Speaker 3So the conference to me was amazing, first of all. Praise God. I got to be around women of God who are on the same path as me. Well, I just started my path, which is ironically this year. And it's crazy to say because I've been in church all my life. Same church, all that stuff, but when you realize that you've been in a church all your life and you have yet to grow, it's time to move on.
Speaker 5Yes.
Speaker 3And that part was my breakthrough because that was one of the things the Naya always said. She said in that prayer for me, she was like, I'm finding something that I need to let go, and that was part of it. It was another thing that she said, but I don't think I'm gonna get into that one right now.
SpeakerThat's all right. That's okay.
Speaker 3I feel like that conference was really good, and I can't wait for the next one. Amen. Thank you, Jesus.
Speaker 1Thank you, Lord. You got to have some repeat offenders.
Speaker 5That's right. Amen. Bless God. Um, well, of course, everybody knows me.
Speaker 2My first name is actually E Tay. Tay is what I go by. Um, I am 49 years old. Um, this was my first year at the conference, but knowing knowing June. It's always a conference between me and her. Thank you, Jesus. Yes. I think my biggest take from the conference, I honestly, is watching God steady growing her. Um bless God. We have real conversations. I mean, all the time. Yes. And um I think it was 22 that I told y'all probably on one of the other shows, that I prayed to God for alignment. Yes. Um and thank you, Lord. And asking God for alignment. I was just talking to Jackie about this yesterday. That meant that he was aligning me into the places where I was going now. So when he started to do that, he was already breaking everything else off, people that I had knew for years. Um, and he was aligning me with the people that were in my calling. And I was telling her on yesterday, people couldn't see me. So when he started to break off the old stuff and give me the new stuff, people actually could see me, could understand the God in me. I was no longer struggling to have a conversation with people. I could be my authentic self and then have to feel bad or hide it, although I'm not a hider. It's just the idea that he gave me people that can see me. So anytime I walk into a place with seers, I'm gonna always uh thank God for the privilege to be around women that are all striving to be in the same place. So my takeaway is anywhere where God is, yeah, and it's a room full of women, that's right, I'm gonna be there every time. So thank you for the confidence.
SpeakerAnd the reason why I asked that is because uh one of the main prayers that I had or I have and had as a woman of God, it was that I don't judge young women in you in your age bracket. Because when we was coming up, the older women that were 65 in their 60s, they used to look down on us instead of building you up. Well, we're 50s too.
Speaker 2No, I said and pinch us.
SpeakerYeah. Uh because that was my desire to gravitate to women in their 30s and their 40s, because life is life in anyway. And you don't want for somebody that you actually look at a distance and think that, you know, oh, they're cool. And then when you talk to them, they're judging you. You know, because as hard as life is, being a woman of God, yeah. I'm not talking about a woman that's out there in them streets, right? But a woman of God that's trying to live upright. You all need words of encouragement. You need to be prayed for. And that's why I said, Lord, please don't make me one of them. I want to be able to, uh, if I can't help you and just encourage you to keep going, live for Christ. Because when I was in my 30s and 40s, I wasn't studying God. I'm not trying to be funny. I've said that time and time again in here. I was not like you all. I had no desire. So I give you all the utmost respect for being where you are because you have could have chosen to be in the world like I was. But for God to have called you and know that He's calling you, what you said spoke volume. You were in the same church, you've been in that same church, but you haven't grown at all.
Speaker 5My God.
SpeakerWe gotta do something about that because that's what we're supposed to do. How can you win souls if you're sitting stagnant? Yeah, if you're on a treadmill, yeah, because I see it in you. You want to help other women, you want to be there, but you don't know yet. You don't know, but we're here to talk about what I'm gonna ask you a question. No, it's not whooping because it's insight. That's insight.
Speaker 5I see that's insight. Yeah, that's insight.
SpeakerI see the light in each and every one of y'all. That's why it brings me to tears because y'all don't know what a blessing you are. You're gonna y'all gonna be something else when y'all in y'all's 50s and 60s, ain't nobody gonna be able to tell you nothing about how good God is. He can't tell you that now, right? But then think about 10 and 15 years from now where you will be. Oh, yeah. That's why we're here to give to give words of encouragement, and then you'll be able to look back at this podcast and say, see, Lord, I did it. Yeah. But I wanted to start by asking you uh, what's one small habit that's surprisingly keeps you stay close to God? What is a habit that you have formed that helps you stay close to God? Praying.
Speaker 4I'm sorry.
Speaker 1Go ahead.
Speaker 4Praying all the time. Amen. We thought that praying is so performative. Like you gotta have such, oh, you gotta have these big prayers and you gotta have these big things when you pray. And I'm like, I can walk, I can pray right here talking to y'all. Yes, right. That's right. And so, like, I just try to stay in constant communication at all times, no matter what is going in relationship. Amen. Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 3Better reading the Bible, I agree with that. Amen. That'd be mine. Read my Bible. I try to read something, verse of something, each night, if not every other night. But I spend at least by myself, at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes reading something of the Bible for me. Amen.
Speaker 1That's good. Yeah. For me, it's gratitude. It's it's uh it's a choice between do I complain or do I give thanks. And most times most times when I'm led to complain, thanks always come out. Yeah. So um they laugh at me around the house because I could be doing laundry or I could be washing dishes and I could say, Lord, I thank you anyway. Yeah, you know, and I just it's so for me it's it's gratitude. Amen. Amen. Thank you.
Speaker 2I'll say for me, um, it's discernment. Uh knowing the difference, because sometimes we know the difference, but we choose the other side. So when you have discernment on you, you know, there's free will, but it ain't free. So at this point in my life, uh discernment is the key. And that's what's keeping me. Because sometimes, you know how they used to say, uh, if people do you wrong, gotta allow you to see it. I think when I got to the place where I respected God, I respect him, it's a difference now. Yeah um he started to let me see the other side sometimes. So discernment is keeping me because once I get there, look, you ain't got to worry about me, I trust you, whatever you say, and it just keeps me level. So things on that part anymore. So that's God.
SpeakerThat's good.
Speaker 2It's a decision. That's wonderful. That's a good thing.
Speaker 5Yeah, that's a wonderful thing. Gifting. Yes. I I want to uh say something when Tay was talking about seers. See, we don't hear words like that often. I didn't hear it at all when I was in church. I was just in church. I was hearing the same sermon every Sunday. He died, I tell you. I said, excuse me? Is this something else? Is this something else? No, I'm serious. Is it something else? Is it something else in that Bible? Like you said, read that Bible. He died, I tell you. I'm promising. And they sang it. Yeah. I can hear that. Yeah. Look, she shook with. Yeah, yeah. Oh, I'm saying like but seeing, that's see, and that's your gift. You have the gift of discernment. Yes. I like when she says that, but you don't hear that no more. You don't hear that. Seers. So I just want to commend you for that, because that's gonna stick with me for real now.
Speaker 2A 21-year-old daughter with that gift. So with you saying that, it's a blessing because I always had this gift, but I did not have anyone building in that gift with me. But because I know that she has this, because I have this, then I can teach her. And it's not that my mother didn't have it, but her conversation, she talked about God, but I was mad at her when I was younger. So I couldn't hear none of that. But see, the relationship that I have with my daughter, I know God is on her life. So I'm constantly helping her to perfect what God is showing her every day. So yeah.
Speaker 5And that's and that's the reason why I brought that up because we get stuck. You know, I'm still hearing the same thing every Sunday, but where's the growth? You ain't telling me nothing about my gifting, you ain't telling me, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, so I'm stuck in that because that was my daughter's father's church or something, you know what I'm saying? Family church, you know, and so I decided myself, I gotta seek you for for me. So you he he said he died, I tell you, so let me find out why. Yeah. Okay, let me let me search the scripture, you know. And so, yeah, I I appreciate that.
SpeakerBecause one thing is that people don't that a lot of well a lot of Christians don't understand because I was that way. I thought my mother was gonna get me into heaven.
Speaker 4But when she died, that rocked my world, right?
SpeakerYeah, and a lot of times we rely on others to get us to heaven, but it's personal. This walk is personal, and once you understand that, you have a sense of peace about you. But I want to ask you all what's something you used to stress about that you now learn to be relaxed about?
Speaker 1Being perfect in your walk, not making a mistake, uh putting on this, if you will, a religious because being religious and being spiritual are two different things. But when you are stuck, like she said, and like what you experienced, I can attest to that as well, uh, which is why it is important for you to have the key of discernment. I've been through, I I do praise and worship. I grew up in church. Mama June knows this. I grew up in church pretty much my whole life as well. Baptist, I was Corinthian Baptist, and then my mother, my grandmother, we doing episcopal and all of these different things. And yes, you're in the setting, but something inside of you says, like, no, it's more than this, just this. Like, Lord, I know I ain't supposed to be sitting on this pew just to put my offering in there and just leave out of it. Yeah, you know, so to be just a lay member, I think for me, um just busting out of that, you know, unorthodox, that's my middle name, you know. But that's what this world needs in 2026, because there'll be people there's some some folks is never gonna touch a church door. How do they know who you are unless you are sent? And the Bible tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. So I can't be worried about what Mama June did and didn't do, or you know, I can't hide behind who I am. This is who I am, and I'm striving for perfection like everybody else. And just because you got the clergy collar on, don't make you better say it. You may be hiding behind some stuff. I might. Can't see, but God knows. And He chooses who He wants to use in that desperate time. There are gifts and callings that many women in church are sitting on because they are under leadership that are threatened by the gift that they have. So they won't pour it into you. They ain't they see it, but they're gonna overlook it. No, because she's gonna end up being now. You see what I'm saying? It has turned into a competition. So the main thing for me has helped has helped me just to be myself because I'm myself that way and I'm myself on the spiritual side just the same, but with more power and authority, because that's not me, that's God. So when you can identify both sides of you and come from behind that mask, even if they never have you come up there and pray, even if they never ask you to sing a solo, even if you don't read a psalm or here and there before the congregation, knowing that you know that you are called to do something, sets you apart from everything else and that spirit of religion will break up off of you so bad, that's when the real attack starts to come, though. Yeah, that's when it comes. But that for me has been one of the most groundbreaking freiness things. Because if it if I have to boil it down biblically and we're talking about liberty, how is it I'm coming into church, but I feel captive when this is the place where they say I'm supposed to be free? And I'm supposed to be free. So why am I not free here? That means there's some other things maybe in the atmosphere that where God is not in control, and have people in control of those things. You better say it. So I just thank God. Oh, yeah. I talk about it. If we ever talk about it, but I just thank God for being at liberty and at peace with who I am in Him and other people's opinion that got nothing to do with that.
Speaker 5Amen, honey.
Speaker 4It's the same thing. I'm sorry. Yes, ma'am. You oh, I thought you were about to go, but I would say the same thing, people pleasing. I can care less now. Like, you know, when it's things going on and God tells me to do something, it's the obedience now. Like, I think I've struggled with obedience, self-control, and um just discipline like my whole life. And so now that I'm learning all those things and I am being obedient, the the God is up there like, let me sprinkle these blessings on you real quick. Let me sprinkle this peace on you real quick. Let me sprinkle this joy on you. It's just like I have a joy in a peace that nothing, it's not nothing anybody could do to take it away from me because it don't come from nothing down here. That's right. You know, it comes from him. And so, like, just knowing that and feeling the peace that I've never had before is just life changing. Thank you, life-changing.
Speaker 3Thank you, Lord. I'm with her on the same thing. So mine was also people pleasing as well. So I had this thing where if I get invited somewhere, I must go. Even if I'm not doing nothing, it's like, oh, they're gonna be mad, have an attitude if I don't go, this and the other. This year, I don't know what it is about this year, but I feel like change is gonna come. Yeah. So when they when I get invited places, it depends on what the place depends on where we're going and who are the people. I don't want to surround myself around people who are negative, who like to, who are very argumentative, who can't hold their liquor. I mean, it's no it's no big deal. You want to drink, you wanna have a wine, whatever. But when you get to that place to where it's just non-stop arguing, or you just want to start any kind of mess with anybody. I'm out. So the last time I actually went out with my friends, I just felt out of place. I was the last person to get there, the first person to leave. Yeah. And I was there living. Yes. I was literally there an hour and I was like, why can't I even come? And something kept telling me in the back of my head, you don't want to go. You don't want to go. But I went anyway. That was your discernment. Yeah. That's right. That's right. I gotta start listening to that. Yeah. You know how people say it's a good feeling. But it's not a good feeling.
Speaker 2But discernment is a good feeling too.
Speaker 3It is good. It's like to me, like I said, I'm new. Like I said, I'm new to this walk, so I'm kind of confused a little bit. Yeah. Am I supposed to do this? Am I not supposed to do this?
Speaker 1I always follow that first mind.
Speaker 2Um, but that was when you were a kid and you knew better.
Speaker 3It's like obedience.
Speaker 2Yep. Yeah.
Speaker 1Obeying your better than sacrifice. Because at what cost are you gonna disobey? Because once you do, well, at least for me, when I go against that first move.
Speaker 5Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4Me too. Yeah, then never seem to be. I'm like, Lord, I could have just but if you think about it, if you think about it like whatever that that thought is that you're getting, if it leads you back to God and what God's word says, there's truth. There's truth. And then it's conviction.
Speaker 2That's it. One thing that you're gonna show what I was saying. As you're getting older, and one thing that you can ask God for when I'm in wrong decisions, when I'm making decisions, yeah, convict me if it's not right. Because discernment will show up, and sometimes we think we see one thing, and then you walk in and you get that. Oh, never mind. Yeah, a conviction, you just ask God for conviction.
Speaker 3And then when you're trying not to please other people, yeah, you you really see who people really are. Oh man, maybe you stand for yourself, and it's crazy because I'm that type of person, I'm not gonna argue with you whatever you did.
SpeakerShoot fingers, for real.
Speaker 3And I used to be the person type that were weary. Oh, I just wonder if they gonna say something or they talk about me. I don't even care no more. Come on, I don't. Amen. And I just told I told my mom this couple weeks back. This she said, but I know that gets on your nerves and that bothers you a little bit. I said, uh-uh. What people think I get mad over, I don't. And it's crazy because that's something you'll get mad over. Yeah. I don't get mad over stuff like that. It kind of takes well, rephrase that, depends on what it is. It takes a minute for me to get upset about. I'm just like, mm, okay, whatever. So they do stuff, they go out, whatever. Nobody calls. I don't even care. Yeah. I don't care. Y'all enjoy yourself. That's called separation. Yeah, that changes your idea. And I'm a silent, I'm a silent mover. So I don't have to say too much because I done said enough. Yeah. I don't have to do too much because I've done enough. So just like, if you want to leave, that's fine.
Speaker 4Yeah.
Speaker 3If you want to stay, that's fine too. But just know, all the stuff we used to do, I'm cool on it. I'm on I'm not on that no more. I done done it. And I feel like I have a couple folks that was in my little group. They didn't get to experience that in their 20s and early 30s. Even with me having my oldest at that time. I got to do it. So you're doing it now. You over it. I'm over it. Because like you're trying to relieve your 20s and your 40s. It looks crazy. And especially when you try to dress like that too. Good Lord.
Speaker 5That's the transformation piece. Yeah. Yeah. June, we was on the same page with the separation because uh when God was calling me, I was ignoring the call. I could hear it. I hear you. But when I was in that dark nightclub with my friends, because quote unquote, I was alive of the party all the time with the car, a little money, whatever. But God was showing me they was just using me. Yeah. Because I was so free-hearted, you know. But God spoke to me and said, Be ye separate. Yeah. Never read the Bible in my life. Not like that. Be ye separate, said the Lord. And I'm like, wait a minute, I still got some brass muggy over here. I ain't gonna get no seriously. And I went in the bathroom. I told Junior, I'm gonna put that cold water on my face. I'm like, I'm going nuts up in here. That whoever's riding with me, we got to go. Because he spoke to me again. And and I tell people, don't believe the lie of the enemy when he tells you that God don't speak to sinners. How are we gonna get saved if he don't? That's right. So that's your transformation piece. That's why he's separating you. Yeah. So he can transform you to be who he calls you. In the beginning, she already said.
Speaker 3And I got to think, this is a different person. I don't know who this is. Yeah. And that's the point. That's the point. And that's the point.
Speaker 1I mean, what you want me to say? Yeah. A DNA change when you decide to do something. Oh, baby.
Speaker 3Find out who they really are. Yeah, yeah. You have to do that.
SpeakerBut don't be mad. I didn't. I'm not mad. That's the bad part. I'm not upset about it. Don't be, I don't mean angry, like, eh, but but accept the fact that God has separated you for his purpose. Yes, sir. Because I've been where you're at now, and it hurt because I didn't have many female friends. I was always a guy's girl, if that makes sense. Oh, it's not. I didn't like women, you know. So I most of my friends were men. And I only had a couple of female friends. And when the transition, and God probably told you that you're getting ready to be separate before it started happening. But a lot of times we're in denial. Yeah. Because I was like, no, they're gonna be my friend to the end, whatever. No, you can feel that share. You can feel that share. And it hurts sometimes because you expect them. Well, that's me. My expectations. Yeah. We did a podcast on the expectancy of expectation. Don't expect nothing at that point.
Speaker 5Yeah.
SpeakerBut to be all that you're supposed to be in Christ. And I you're gonna be a powerhouse. Yeah. It's like Linus. You ever watch Charlie Brown?
Speaker 1Yeah. Linus secure their blankets. Yeah. Have a fit if he ain't got the blanket. Take the blanket away.
Speaker 3Yeah, but no, we took that shift way before this year. So it was like somewhat beginning, middle of last year. But it's like I asked asked them to come to the women's conference with me. Oh, no, I'm cool. That's too much money. But y'all can pay to go to this Chris Brown concert we just went to. Okay. Okay. And it's $210 less.
Speaker 4Woo woo woo.
Speaker 3But it's okay. I guess it was meant to be that way.
Speaker 4But that's how it is, though. Like when you start having conversations, you realize how surface level your friendships really are when you start to take away the alcohol, when you start to take away the weed. When you start to take away all the stuff that you did, when you take that all away and you start having conversations with people, you be like, what are we even talking about?
Speaker 3And we never went to any kind of gospel, anything, Christian thing, like concert, the concerts that come here. Like, I want to go see David Teddy Man yesterday.
Speaker 4Yeah.
Speaker 3I could have gone by myself, but I didn't. Yeah. They, the conference, those kind of concerts, or even just going to a different church where they have guest speakers talk. Like, I know about all this stuff. Nobody wants to go. My friends. Quote, my friends. We don't even pray together.
Speaker 9That's crazy.
Speaker 3When I just met Tay and Zanaya, like I say, Zanaya, she prayed for me over the phone.
Speaker 9Pray with me over the phone.
Speaker 3So I'm just like, this is crazy. These are people I just met versus people I've been knowing somewhat all my life. Praise God.
Speaker 1Thank you, Jesus. You had to have a reassignment of your village. I had to get accepted. I had to uh accept that as well. Your natural camp is is your natural camp, but your spiritual camp look different. And there's gonna be people that you very different that have like gifts as you, because iron sharpens iron. So those things that you are having struggles with, not said necessarily you're having them currently or whatnot, but they're gonna be stepping stones to your continuous daily walk, even for me. Stepping stones still that I'm still coming up on. Hence is why I've met Tay. You know, she's been avenues and places where I'm I'm literally right behind her. I'm like, dang, I ain't know we had so much in common. You know, but God does that on purpose because just like he would remove a mother or father, he still will send a mother and father in someone else. He'll remove a brother or sister, he'll still come back in behind you and send those same people, but they have a different perspective and all in the same alignment as what you are on. So releasing them is the best part of your journey because that's where all them trickle down blessings expectantly. It's gonna be like your your first couple, like this, your first year, get ready, baby, because when you're two, three apart, you're gonna be like, Lord, I only thought about it and here it is. And that's because you're fully committed here, yeah, that whatever's in here, I want it to be here also, and I don't want to attract nothing that ain't like that to me. And that's what that that you're behind the veil, sweetie. Yeah, yeah. That's a good way, good way to play it. Behind the veil. And while you're back there, ain't nobody gonna be able to come back there but the ones God authorizes to come back there. Yeah, that's it. Amen. Praise God.
SpeakerAnd I want to uh thank you for this one particular testimony because you could have kept that to yourself. But it shows your growth and it shows your courage, and it shows that you want to get closer in your walk with Christ. So I'm gonna ask you, Jackie, would you please pray over the ladies that might be listening and will listen to this podcast that are dealing with similar things that Keisha's experiencing now?
Speaker 1I sure will. Father God, we just thank you for this day, for this is the day that you have made. We choose to rejoice and be glad in it. God, you said that there was no time like the present. So, God, I thank you for opening up every listening ear that is on this podcast today, that your will be done, Lord God. I ask that you go into every dry place in every uh woman's heart, Lord God, that's having an identity crisis right now in the mighty name of Jesus, Lord God. We thank you, Lord God, for you knew them before they were formed in their mother's womb. You knew who they would be. You knew that they would be Deborah's and Ruth's and Esther's and Naomi's, Lord God. So I thank you for every spiritual gift that's lying dormant right now, God. I ask that you stir it up right now in the mighty name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord God, that you're gonna be a light unto their feet, Lord God, and that you're gonna continue to lead, guide, and strengthen them in the mighty name of Jesus, God, because you have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, Lord God, that we can tread over every scorpion and serpent, and nothing shall by any means harm us. So, God, I just thank you, Lord God, for the victory. I thank you, Lord God, for the abundance and the outpour right now in Jesus' name, God, that they will take off the masks and they will accept the true identity that you have given unto them, Lord God. We thank you that they shall be fruitful in the earth and they shall go where you send them. They shall speak what you say, Lord God. I ask that you even remove the bridle of some of their tongues, Lord God. Remove right now in Jesus' name. And God, I celebrate every woman that is listening, that's struggling, Lord God. You said that there is nothing too hard for you. So, God, we give your name glory, we give your name honor, we celebrate you for the victory, we thank you for the testimony, we thank you for the fear being broken off in Jesus' name. Amen.
SpeakerThank you so much.
Speaker 5Thank you. It is so. Yes, oh God. Beautiful. Hallelujah.
SpeakerThank you, Jesus.
Speaker 5Yeah, the time is now.
Speaker 1God is raising up warriors, and a lot of us are so scared because we've been taught that the man got to be in the front, he got to be the one to do the leading. Right. And he's the one on the front line. But in this season, that's why you're feeling like what you're feeling, and that's what you're feeling, why you're feeling, is because he's raising you guys up to go out on the front line. You both are warriors in the spiritual realm. You're warriors, and the enemy don't like it. So the first thing he's gonna do is try to keep you from seeing it, or keep you from being in uh communication and fellowship with ones who can see it. That's a struggle for a lot of women too. A lot of women got good, good warriors, and they're connected to some people that are the enemy in the camp. Yeah, and they try to destroy the relationship that you have with those people. And so it it doesn't feel like friendship anymore. It feels like friction. So now them F's have changed. And so now you're trying to figure out well, Lord, they really say, is that really my friend? You my friend, you my friend here? Take me my friend. So now you start questioning, but no, the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, seeking whom he may devour. And it don't matter, it could be me, it could be you, it could be you. We have to stand firm in this season. Let your yay be ye and your nay be nay. That's right. And that's where you're gonna find the best strength you have ever found in your life, even if it makes you cry. Trust me, I'm an ugly crying something. I'm telling you. I will spit, slab, cry, roll all over the floor. Lord, but in that there's a a sound that can come from the pit of your belly that I promise you that'll reach straight up to the heavens. And all of that, all of the confusion, all of the people you saying fussing and getting on their little levels with the alcohol, all of it disappears. You ever notice where you show up now, certain people start disappearing when you show up? Scatter.
Speaker 3Or get quiet.
Speaker 1Yeah, get quiet. You know it ain't you. You know it ain't you. What's going on with y'all?
Speaker 243.
Speaker 3Look, I had to think about force.
Speaker 2I'm gonna just I'ma just throw this in here real quick. Um there's levels. And some of us get it early, some of us get it in the middle, some of us get it a little later. Um my baby is sold out, and most of the kids in the church love God. But it takes an example. And what God is doing in you right now is He's pruning you. You in your pruning season. Um, you got a lot of questions, things don't look right, things don't feel right. Be okay with it not feeling right. The change is now. You're talking about, yeah, you're talking about it's it's coming, it's already happened. The thing is, all is God needs is your yes. And when you fully accept him and you just okay with running with him, because like I told y'all, um well, I didn't tell y'all, this year for me, uh from the probably the end of last year to the beginning of this year, God snatched people that I loved wholeheartedly. I don't know nothing about hate because I was the first kid. So I've always been loved. So I was the first granddaughter, the first daughter, the first niece, the first everything. So in this year, God took the things and the people away from me that I loved. And it broke my heart, and I didn't know what to do with it. But see, I'm not a warrior, but I cried. I'm not a crier about things like that. I just be like, it is what it is, but I had to ask God to let me be okay with the things that He has taken away and be able to walk with my head held high and still trust him. Because when it's family members, that's all I knew. That's all I had. And he took a few of them that I looked up to, that you would see me, you would see them. And they're no longer there. And for a while, baby, let me tell you something. It was hard. Change was happening. I didn't like the change. But I tell you what, I trusted him. Yeah. I cried to myself, and then one day I didn't feel it anymore. The things that look good to me, he let me see why. And that's only when you fully trust him. So when you fully give him your yes, you're gonna turn around and you're gonna be like, oh, that was why. Yeah. I have so much peace on me. I can't sit around y'all and tell y'all nothing if I have hell in me. But because God gave me the peace, yeah, you're 43. I tell people it's something about that age thing. My cousin was like, when you get to 40, it's the eff it year. Yeah, I know what the effing is. I believe that. When I was 45, I was a new woman. Now that I'm 49, the peace that you think you feel, girl. The peace that you think you feel, it gets greater. And especially if you got God and you keeping them in every aspect. He's gonna let us talk in there trying to kill him by today.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, okay. Yeah, where stuff happens like that to me with Nicaragua at the moment.
Speaker 2But that's how it's gonna happen. And and you see, you see, even that happening. As soon as God put his hand on you, you see how she over there choking. That's what it's gonna look like. Yeah, but guess what? You ain't even gonna be able to see that because when you fully trust him, he already done fixed that. So everything that's happening is for your own good. You didn't ask. For alignment, guess what he did? He gave it to you. So when people look new to you, it's God. When you say that people weren't praying with you, and all of a sudden people praying for you that don't know you, that's God showing you who you are. That's right. Yeah, it's who you are. Amen. You're gonna be a warrior, girl.
Speaker 4I feel like I'm kind of coming, like, I don't think we ever come out the prone season, but I think God continues. No, because you learn it every day. I'm still I I feel like that identity shift, like I'm kind of coming out, like I'm finally able to be like, okay, God sees me. I'm loved. Like God has showed up as Elroy to me. When I say I've learned Elroy, I've learned Elroy. These even in these past two months. Yes. Like everything that I prayed about, everything that I've been dealing with on the inside, God has sent something or somebody to me to tell me what He sees. And so now I'm at a place now where I need that community around me. I need to be around people that are like-minded, that are on the same spiritual journey as me. I started, I was going to the club every weekend. I ain't about to lie, I'm going to the club every weekend. Every Friday. The end of the week, Friday is my okay. Friday, I'll be like, just dealing with people at work. I gotta go have me a drink. Right. And you know, it just catapult, catapult. I'm gonna say, thank God I ain't been to the club in a month. Thank you. Thank you. That's the happy month, girl. Okay. That's a blessing. And so, like, I just think that like once you get out of there, you really have to seek the community. Like, I go to I look forward to Bible study on Saturday morning. I go to Bible study, we start at 10, and we be in there till three, four o'clock in the afternoon, and it's supposed to stop at 12. And so it's just like being around beautiful, yeah. Being around like people who are on the same thing, the spiritual, yes. And when she started talking about praying, you went to praying. I went from praying by myself to having some. I walk in a room and the discernment is just in there, and they just laying their hands on me and just praying for me. Yes, it's just amazing.
Speaker 2Yeah, I just told Jackie yesterday we was having a conversation, and I said, I used to feel so out of place. And I didn't understand because I always had a relationship with God, and I know that He chose me, but the people that were around me did not see me, and I didn't understand it. I always felt like I was out of place, I'm in the wrong place, I'm always giving a word on an accident on purpose, right? Yeah, I did not feel seen. But when I asked God for alignment, now remember I just said this was just 2022. Everybody around me could see me. They could see me. I could talk about God, and I've always talked about God on Facebook, or wherever I'm at, you're gonna hear about God because that's who I am. But these people received me, and I was like, Jackie, you know him too. You know him too, and I could relate. So when you get things that you can relate to, Holy Spirit just moves. When you can walk into a place and I could be somewhere at home going through, and she'll call me. Baby, God told me to call you and she'll start praying, and I'm on her crying. Then God will give me something some days. I'll just call her and start, she crying. You just don't know.
Speaker 4Yeah.
Speaker 2When God gives you your village, baby, it's a blessing. That village is a blessing, it's a blessing. Thank you.
SpeakerAnd it ain't gotta be a hundred people.
Speaker 2No, because some of them be too many. Yes, that's too big.
SpeakerSomebody ain't right now. Yeah. I keep my little smile a little few.
Speaker 1But like you, Miss June, uh I grew up, well, you know, my parents, you know, and I used to always ask my mom, I say, you know, mama, you got, you know, you know, you June's a ceiling. Mama Karen. Miss Daphne. You got no other friends? Literally three. And I, for the love of me, I could not understand it. So as a young girl, when I would bring my so-called friends home, I mean the whip come out instantly. Nope. That ain't your friend. That one right there ain't your friend. She's talking about there. She's jealous of you. It was it was something, you know, as a child, you don't quite get you know, you want your friend to be your friend. We are friends. Mama, what you're talking about? 20 years later. Mama, you was right. That went. That's right. You know, so we we we sometimes, as young ladies, because we wear so many hats, we've been hurt, we have been abused mentally, physically, some of us emotionally. Um, that sometimes when we do have the village, the natural instinct is to reject it. Uh-uh. I done been here done that. I ain't doing nothing with this group of women. Uh-uh. I had a bunch of y'alls before. Yeah. And I I know y'all women, so I know how y'all is. Won't even give them a chance. We'll we'll push them away, shun them, forgetting the fact that even the hardest of women have friends or a community of people that God has sent to kind of soften. They all ain't gonna look the same. He has to have us all each and uniquely individually, strategically placed in the same group. Because if that doesn't happen, then we all the same cattiness happens. Competition happens, confusion happens. And so to break that, that's it, when you are open and you are a follower of Christ, your heart is open to receive, but then your discernment allows you to filter the rest. That way you don't you don't have to make a mistake and know if you're supposed to be in the camp or not. Well, I already got the lowdown about you, little mama. God ain't done what you want. I ain't supposed to be over here with you. And that does not mean that that those people are bad or that they're not supposed to be there. It's just some sometimes God will send things that that spiritual warfare, so you can start using your tools. You got to start using your tools, and a lot of us have put them tools up in the vault. We done put our tools in the little case with the little cloth wrapped around us. No, I'm gonna sit that over there. I don't need that today. But no, we are commissioned as the salt of the earth to always have those tools and to use them. So that way when you get them little creep attacks, like you only got about 24 more hours, so you better get done. You can't rest in insurance and know that that battle or whatever it is that's coming up against you. I may not talk to you every day or talk to you every day, but I know because y'all are part of the camp and got discernment. Oh, they got my back, I'm gonna have my front. You see, you you gear up for war before war actually even takes place. That way you are prepared because proper preparation prevents poor performance. And that's on every level.
SpeakerSo those tools, if we pack them up, they are not useful in the case. No, they ain't nothing useful that ain't taken out. Yeah, you gotta you have those tools in you, on you, inside of you, to be able to use that discernment that God gave you. And discernment, uh, I'm gonna touch base on this, and then we're gonna pray, and we're done with uh part one. But discernment is one of the gifts of the spirit. Yes, it is, and I'm asking that everybody pray for it. Yeah, pray that your discernment is even more heightened because it's needed, it's necessary uh in 2026. Uh, it's necessary for even it don't matter what age you are, right? So I'm just thankful for the gift of discernment. Sometimes it tells you something like, uh, I don't want to know that, Lord. You don't want to say it.
Speaker 1But it's it's for your benefit. And it could be when you're the one messing up. Yes.
Speaker 5Wait a minute. She says she said something now. Because I was gonna talk about the misuse of it. Yeah, because we can come in with the wrong motive and attitude because we have the gift, yeah. And we just thought sizing everybody else is too left shit. But we can't hurt nobody else. Check our own.
SpeakerBut is it the gift of discernment? Yeah. If we're utilizing it for the negative, yeah, people can use it.
Speaker 1Well, you're you're you're you're you're you wouldn't be using it in that sense, then for the kingdom. You're using it for that part of the sort of thing.
Speaker 5That's why I said don't misuse any of the gifts. Yeah, especially when you you have that gift of discernment, because you can walk into a crowd and just throw it, you know, your your discerning is up. Your radars are up, but your motives is all wrong. Right. So, yeah.
Speaker 1And if you're in the right spirit, if you are in the right spirit with that, so if you were to come to me and say, hey, sister Jackie, uh, the Lord and told me, well, we're just gonna say with your example with the wrong with the wrong spirit, but I got the right one, right? So you got the wrong spirit. Oh that God.
SpeakerI gotta interject. Pat, pray us out, please.
Speaker 5Yes, ma'am. Father God, we just thank you right now for what was said, oh God, around this table. We thank you, Father God, because you're in this. We thank you right now, Father God, for all the blessings. We thank you for opening up the ears of those that are listening right now. Yes, we pray, God, that the words, oh God, uh, that would that went forth will land on the hearts, oh God. Yes, and it will be like the seed of your word, God, planted on the inside of your people. Yes. We thank you right now for the growth in our spiritual life. Yes, we thank you, Father God, in the name of Jesus for Vent 101. We thank you, Father God. Thank you, Jesus. Keep blessing June, Lord God. Give him these vision, oh God, how to run this ministry, Father God, and bless these women at this table, Lord God. Open up doors that no man can shut. In the mighty name of Jesus, and those that need to be shut. I pray, God, that your hand will do it. In the mighty name of Jesus. And so we praise you, God. We love you, Father God, because you are the awesome God and only wise God, our Savior. And this I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
